This website is dedicated to my work with medicinal plants and botanical product design and contains my professional portfolio, blog, and contact information. To make navigation simple, each section of this site is explained below.
The Artifacts and Reflections section showcases my academic work and accomplishment of learning objectives during my graduate studies of therapeutic herbalism and product design at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). That section can be navigated by competencies or outcomes and is arranged by course to keep it clean since some courses have multiple artifacts and achieve multiple competencies. I gave Internship it’s own page to make it easy to find for those who are looking for inspiration and ideas about the possibilities in the world of medicinal plants.
The Blog is designed to present my knowledge of herbal medicine, aromatherapy, and natural product design to you in a less academic, more easily digestible format. It is here where I can share the years of culminated research, education (at MUIH and others), experimentation, and most of all, passion.
My background was not originally in Herbal Medicine, but rather intelligence and information security. I am an analyst by trade and a nerd by choice. I apply scientific evaluation to my work while indulging my creative side. My experience in the herbal industry dates back to 2013 when I began conducting research on aromatherapy, taking formal classes at the American College of Healthcare Sciences and creating natural products. I found my passion and launched right into a product line, Tiberius Organics. In 2016 I decided to put my fledgling product line on hold while I continued studying herbal medicine and deepened my understanding of the plants at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. My focus has been on botanical product design and research. The About page is all about me if you want to learn more.
Head over to Services and Workshops to see some of the group classes and workshops I have taught. I am available for individual or group sessions and can do online sessions, as well. If you are interested in booking a class or just want to ask a question or say hi, head over to my Contact page.
