I am an herbalist, aromatherapist, product designer and plant nerd. I am an analyst by trade and a nerd by choice. I hold certificates in Natural Products Manufacturing (CNPM), Herbal Retail Management (CHRM), and Aromatherapy (CA) from the American College of Healthcare Science (ACHS), where I graduated with honors. In addition to formal education, I have years of experience with aromatherapy and product formulation. It’s kind of my thing.
I have a Master of Science from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), where I studied Therapeutic Herbalism with a concentration in herbal product design.
My background is not originally in Herbal Medicine, but rather intelligence and cybersecurity. I spent eight years as a Spanish and Portuguese translator in the United States Navy before moving into the world of cybersecurity. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from American Military University (AMU), an Associate of Arts in Spanish from the Defense Language Institute, and an Associates of Art from Pensacola Junior College. Additionally, I hold a Paralegal Certificate from AMU and have nearly 30 graduate credits in telecommunications and intelligence courses. It clearly took me a long time to figure out what I was passionate about, but I finally found it.
My experience in the herbal industry dates back to 2013 when I stumbled upon aromatherapy. I began researching and creating natural products for myself. I found my passion and left my graduate program in Telecommunications to enroll in the American College of Healthcare Sciences. I found my passion and created a small product line, Tiberius Organics.
My unique (odd?) mix of experiences, skills, and education make me different than many of my counterparts. I am naturally skeptical and question everything, manmade or natural. I have a strong desire to create scientifically sound products that blend modern technology with the best that Mother Nature has to offer. In addition to product formulation and creation, I enjoy researching, writing, sharing my knowledge with others, and gardening.
